Horn Island Disco . . .

Vice President of QBLAI Torres Strait, Nathan Burnett, organised a Blue Light Disco on Horn Island to raise funds for the Prep and Grade 7 graduations.  Held on the 18th June, 96 kids turned up to make the night a great success.

If only getting home had gone as smoothly as the disco. After dropping half the crew back to Thursday Island, Nathan experienced a minor ‘technical difficulty’ with the boat and spent some time enjoying the moonlit night.

A big thank you to Vince from Wis Way Charters for saving the day.  Vince towed Nathan back to Horn Island, and then dropped the rest of the crew home free of charge.
