On the 8th September PLO Thomas Pedro & SC Patricia Pedro of Thursday Island Police flew to Moa Island on the police plane to dust off the island disco ball.  Held in the Kubin Village Community Hall, the disco was kindly supported by TSIRC Kubin Village and St Pauls Village Moa Island.

62 children turned up in their best disco gear to party with Connie & Trish.  Many parents and families came along also, and joined in the fun with the usual favourites, including the Macarena, Chicken Dance & Electric Slide.

There were heaps of prizes, and who doesn’t like to win something?  

Thanks to the joint efforts of Kubin and St Pauls Councils who cooperated with the Island Community Police.  A big Esso to S/Sgt Eunice Hosea and her team of Community Police, the Pedros and all the families who attended to make the night a big success.
