Operation Drag is a project designed to give youth and youth at risk the opportunity
to gain positive experiences and life values. It is made possible through a partnership
consisting of the Queensland Blue Light Association, Queensland Police, Government
Departments and a number of private organisations. The youth involved in this program
are taught mechanical skills through TAFE initiated courses, and attend racing events
where they learn event management, track management and specialist jobs that are
carried out in running a race meeting.
